El impacto de la violencia emocional en la salud de las mujeres

Abstract
Este artículo tiene como objetivo sensibilizarnos con la problemática de la violencia emocional, que se disfraza entre los diagnósticos médicos, por los que son atendidas las mujeres en los centros de salud y por los que fallecen de forma silenciosa.
Este tipo de violencia es justificada e invisibilizada por las mujeres sobrevivientes, porque es sutil y sus efectos inmediatos como el dolor moral, el miedo, la rabia, la falta de autonomía y pobre autoestima, dañan la salud física y emocional; algunas fallecen esperando un futuro mejor y algo mágico que hará cambiar a su pareja.
La violencia emocional incluye el maltrato verbal, caracterizado por gritos, burlas y críticas malintencionadas. También amenazas de abandono, separación y muerte.
