Abstract
La formación del Trabajador Social en Colombia ha ganado un espacio fundamental a partir de la Constitución de 1991. La democracia organizativa, la descentralización política administrativa, evidencian nuevos espacios de intervención profesional del Trabajador Social como consultores, asesores, investigadores en nuevas áreas de conocimiento, diseñadores de planes de desarrollo social. Un cambio de racionalidad en las relaciones Estado - Sociedad Civil, donde la intervención está en la gestión social y administrativa de los municipios, de la participación ciudadana en una renovada concepción de los municipios, de la participación ciudadana en una renovada concepción del individuo frente a la heterogeneidad de intereses de la sociedad.
