Abstract
La primera expresión organizativa de los Trabajadores Sociales en Costa Rica se manifiesta con la Constitución de la Asociación Nacional de Trabajadores Sociales (ANTS) el 14 de agosto de 1953. Esta organización nace al calor de los problemas que aquejaban a las personas que se desempeñaban en el campo del Trabajo Social en ese momento histórico
